EVENT	DESCRIPTION
"Thunder In The Valley" Fireworks Spectacular	This event has become one of the premiere fireworks displays for the Hocking Valley. The event is marked with kids games, music, and food, and of course the largest fireworks display in the Hocking Valley. The show is choreographed to music and is set against the spectacular backdrop of the Hocking Hills.
Annual Fire Department Breakfast Buffet	Held every year on the first Saturday in December. Firefighters raise money by having a delicious Breakfast Buffet. The Buffet includes many different items at a reasonable price.
59th Annual Christmas Basket Campaign	Every year our department in cooperation with the York Twp. Volunteer Fire department organize and distribute food baskets to the less fortunate of the Nelsonville and York Twp. area. The idea started with 25 baskets and now includes over 200 baskets each year. Our funding comes from local business, groups and citizens. This is one of our proudest traditions.
